A total of 16,794 students had applied for the RV/RT this year which include 14,977 RV and 1,797 RT. It is to be mentioned here that the number of application received for the RT/RV last year was around 2000. Earlier, the results were declared on April 28 and RV/RT application were received within 15 days from the date of declaration of results. The CGBSE this year decided to reduce the time limit of receiving application and subsequently declaring the RV/RT results, so that the students get enough time for the various competitive examinations including engineering entrance examination.
