In all 5,537 final semester engineering students from 16 Engineering colleges in Durg district Affiliated to CSVTU (Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University) , Bhilai would be gifted free laptops at the hands of Chief Minister, Dr Raman Singh, in a specially organised function, scheduled on April 19th for Durg.
(The programme for Durg has been postponed on account of Ram Navami, new date for distribution is 3rd May 2013)
More than 13,500 BE & Medical students of final semester will get free laptops in this scheme prevailing from various disciplines in 46 Engineering colleges in the state. College-wise total number of students of Durg who will get free laptops under this scheme:
